More details to follow, but finally connected with the mule deer of my dreams yesterday evening. We tracked a lot of miles to make it happen (up to 20 miles/day). Him and a doe busted us when we came over a small bluff to find them bedded down together. Shot him on the run right at 100 yards. 30-3/8" inside spread and taped out at 197-7/8". To say I'm on cloud nine would be a massive understatement.

Eats just like white-tailed to me. I'm actually eating some ground right now from a muley I harvested near marathon last year.

I'm not surprised, the most sensitive part on a man doing the same is his ears. Nobody wants to get caught by their roommate walking in, regardless if its a college age roommate or your own toddler.
