I second this. We hunt on walker country in Webb county and we get more tags every year if we need them. We show the biologist pictures of deer late in season that need to be taken and he gets us tags within 48 hours.

Yes sir, I'm just down the road from that ranch. Old man walker had a few daughters and I think the ranch they are hating on is one of the sisters to our owners.

Ya that whole area is divided up between the family. I'm guessing you are on the Peyote ranch, where you take a left at the railroad tracks; a friend of mine is on that lease.

I met another guy in another lease just south from Mirando. It's a brand new lease only 1500 acres

How was the season? Interested in quality of bucks killed etc. Congrats to your boy on his first hog

Season was good, very wet towards the end of the year. Nobody shot a Buck over 150" and so there is some belief that the summer drought contributed to that.

The buck below was the nicest I killed and scored a 132". The other 'wide load' was killed by my neighbor.

We do, wide-load came in at 202lb and my Buck came in at 192lbs
