Howdy! If you are interested in owning some wild turkeys, I will be hatching them as soon as the girls lay in the spring. "Why own a wild turkey?", you might ask. Think of them like Guinea fowl, except not obnoxious. If you live in the country or have any acreage whatsoever, these are the best insect control you could have - no chemicals with these guys. Also, they are pretty cool pets and are surprisingly easy to domesticate. Basically if you get them as babies, they will be pets. You keep them locked up until they are probably 3 months old, then you can release them and they will stay around your place, murdering every grasshopper, small reptile or rodent in sight. Long story short, they are really cool to have around. You can also eat their eggs if you want. They will lay as long as you pick the eggs up. Mine lay from March to early August. And.... if you get tired of them, you can eat them for Thanksgiving!
They sell as soon as hatched and as fast as they sell for $35 each. If I have juveniles or adults, the price goes up. I am located just west of Waco in the Crawford/Mcgregor area. Unfortunately, I cannot ship. So this is for pick up on farm only. Thanks!
