This was naturally occurring in one of my wetlands. It has really started to take over in the last year. Im trying to establish a good seed bed of barnyard grass and this stuff is competing for space. Anybody know what it is? Trying to decide if I should nuke it or not.

Knotgrass (Panicum distichum) would be my guess as well. It likes wet areas.

If it were more of an upland site, I'd be thinking thin paspalum (P. setaceum).

Ducks also go for triplesedge the stem is triangular, they'll tear it up.
