I never underestimate my ability to be wrong, and hope the more seasoned members of texags can set me straight.
My uncle got very into shooting skeet and trap some years ago and set himself up for reloading 20ga. He passed all of his equipment on to me, and I find myself slightly out of my element. I shoot a good bit of rifle and pistol, and the little bird hunting I do is with a 12ga.
I am interested in getting into reloading rifle and pistol (.308 and 44mag), and have read quite a few threads here gearing up to get started. From what I can tell both presses that I have will only work for shotshells? They are both MEC brand and the larger is a 9000 series, I'm not sure about the other. Can anyone help identify? obviously I assume the scale would be suitable for rifle and pistol reloading, but can anyone speak to the quality of the model?
Ideally I'd like to trade this equipment to get set up to load .308 and 44mag. Or sell it and use the funds towards that setup. There looks to be about 750 20ga wads, 2lbs of green dot, 1000+ primers, a box of idk how many hulls and the 2 presses. I have not used any of the equipment, but my uncle never did anything half measure and he always bought quality everything and took care of it. I am looking around online trying to determine a fair value, but any thoughts or info here would be much appreciated. Thanks and Gig'em
