There are some on another website I frequent that swear by Slinkys on the feeder legs- stick each feeder leg thru a Slinky and attach one end to the top of the leg.

Problem I'm having is my protein feeder is one of the lower models with open spouts (not exact one below but similar). They can simply stand on their back legs and grab some. I'd be ok if they were eating some but they're dumping a crap load of it on the ground and letting it go to waste. They need to die which makes the poison method sound awesome. Wish it didn't kill all the other stuff though. I'm not ok with that.
