If you get west of Katy, Tx, check Igloo factory store. Prices on ther Yeti like coolers will blow you away.

I may have just had lemons, but my experience is that RTIC is nowhere near as good as a yeti. Multiple sizes, hard and soft side. I've been underwhelmed.

I've had two brute/bisons that are closer in quality but I'd still prefer a yeti.

FWIW I've never owned a yeti, but my dad and some friends do and theirs always out perform my coolers.

My original RTIC 65 still runs like a champ, but all of the soft sides fell apart at the top seam so I will not make that mistake again.

Also picked up a Yukon in tan with camo top at a hunting show and it's been great. Too bad they stopped making that line. Would buy again.

I can hook you up with a Gnarwal through a buddy of anyone wants a glow in the dark rotomolded cooler with all the accessories included.

Those nave blue Yeti's look great. When you're buying a cooler that will last a lifetime a few extra bucks is worth it. I've had people at Aggie tailgates offer to buy my maroon Legend 75 for more than double what I paid and I turn them down.

I just noticed last night that my original rtic 20 soft side the glue around that top seam was failing and water had gotten in around the foam. Planning to chunk it in the trash today. Is that a common fail point?

I've been happy with that cooler, it's probably at least 5 years old. What's the goto recommendation for soft sided?

For REI Co-Op members ($20 for lifetime membership), there's a 20% off sale going on right now.

Can use on Yeti products and they ship to your house for free. Can get a really good deal on a cooler right now if you're wanting to go full OB but also save.

Their coupon is also good for 20% off a Dometic fridge.

Same thing happened to my RTIC soft side. Eventually the seam failed entirely and the zipper came off completely. Then I chunked it.

I am also looking for a replacement for it.

I don't see them mentioned, but I just got a 25qt Otter Box... It was a gift - I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it seems pretty rugged...

I have two RTIC soft sides and one Yeti soft side. One RTIC is already in the trash from glue separation on lid, just like others posted, and second doesn't have a lot of life left. Heat and humidity did them in I think. Yeti is in perfect health because it seems they use stitching vs glue…so I'm not anti-RTIC now, I just will specifically look for glued seams only vs what looks like stitched unders with glued stuff off top.

I have had the zipper yeti soft and now have the magnet soft. Both are in great shape. If you are looking for a bigger soft side I would go with Yeti.

For smaller soft side I use Ice Mule.

I had a RTIC soft side and it fell apart after a year or two of going to the river. Replaced it with a Pelican Soft Side and could not be happier. Pelican will usually offer a BOGO deal around holidays.
