All the guys at Discount Tire were using 3/8" Milwaukee

Most of our boilermakers in our industrial turnaround group are busting flange nuts with 1500 ft-lbs of torque with battery powered impacts these days. You can pretty much find a battery powered wrench for just about any torque value.

If you're not wanting to spend the $$$ on a Dewalt or Milwaukee, I've had a 1/2" Kobalt for about 10 years, and it's a beast.

Yes. 1/2" impact in every vehicle I drive.

My farm pickup impact get the most use, but it's a beast and has save me hours of torment while working on equipment.

I keep them in all the vehicles for changing tires. A little bit ridiculous, but the convenience is sure nice when it 3 and you are changing a tire on the side of the road!
