I've got a few few ARs I'd like to sell. Some are high end factory and some are builds with high end parts. 6.5 CM, .308, 6 ARC (12"), etc.

Just wondering if any of you have sold on Texas Gun Trader and how you liked the experience.

I've sold a few on gunbroker, never tx gun trader though. GB was fine, just have to be prepared for their fees and dealing w FFL shipping of course.

Have sold and bought a few on this board over the years. It's the easiest way to go by far. Use a private sale document, get personal info and DL for your files, each take a copy of the form, you are good to go.

I've had a Q Sugar Weasel up on Texas Gun Trader for a while. The only inquiries I've had are for trades.

I've had luck there but watch out for scammers.

High end ARs seem to struggle on resale value.

Selling here is much better than any other option. Honest buyers that don't flake out on you are worth your time!

I've bought and sold several there without issue. I make it clear that you must be LTC and willing to sign a bill of sales.

I typically avoid new accounts if possible and generally people who can't communicate in a professional way.

That said I would try to sell on these boards first.

When you say high end are we talking actual high end like Knights or Hodge, or more like Daniel defense/BCM?

Texas Gun Trader is fine and I sell most of my stuff on there. Always post stuff here as well but it's just a much bigger pool. High end stuff you don't really see it but when you sell cheaper stuff you get some very "interesting" people. And by interesting I mean mouth breathers

Texags is better for sure. Normal people and no BS.

TGT you get a lot of lowballs/retarted trade offers with some various scam messages mixed in. I've been ghosted once or twice as well.

I usually list here for a couple weeks first and then post on TGT

The 6.5 CM Aero Precision is an EyeGuy build. Great gun. I just decided to build a lightweight version with a pencil barrel. I'll post the pics.

We also have a gun trading thread on the OB that sells a lot of guns.

I would post it there as well as it's own thread on Classifieds.

Whatever you are selling if it is a fair market price you will sell it in a day.
