Has anyone tried the Tecovas Knox yet? Look like they would be comfortable but wanted to see if anyone has bought them yet.

It's my understanding that Tecovas is just a marketing company.

They're taking someone else's boot and slapping a Tecovas name on it, posting it all over Instagram with some catching ad campaigns, and turning a profit.

With that said they're nice boots and I wear mine regularly. Highly recommend

Yeah tecovas if you havent tried em yet. Built well and my ropers are comfy, spent appx 300. Will buy again.
Cueros apparently uses the same Mexican models/production contractor, just different names and a bit cheaper, from what I've heard/read, and they are priced a little lower. Very good boots according to the guy I use to re-sole stuff from time to time. I vaguely recall they had a deal to be in a few big box outdoor stores but can't remember the name of the chain (cabellas or bass pro?)

FWIW, I tried Cueros and I didn't care for them at all. I ordered The Vincent in the same size but in two different colors and found them to be pretty inconsistent both on color (based on online pictures) and fit. Retuned both because they didn't fit right. Overall workmanship was not great (crooked stitching, loose threads, etc). I actually tried them again and bought another pair in a size up just to see if maybe that would help, but those had the same issues. Returned those too. It would have been nice to be able to try on and see those issues in person. I'm not a huge fan of the mail order only system on footwear.

As Leander-Ag says, I'd check out Chisos Boots. A little sturdier construction than Tecovas.
I bought a pair about 9 months ago for around $450.
They are much better than anything you can get in a typical western wear / boot store.
I believe they are more comfortable than a pair of Lucchese smooth ostrich I bought years ago, and certainly a lot tougher.
