Any recommendations or suggestions on how to find a quail lease? I'm open to a location just about anywhere in Texas, although all other things being equal, I'd prefer not to have to drive down to south Texas.
So true! I'm really looking out 1 1/2 years, so hopefully by then the populations might rebound.Colonel A. 1976 said:

Thanks, but the site won't allow me to see them at least until I register. Do you know what forum those threads are in?
ETA: I've now registered but cannot access the Classifieds forum for 30 days or some such.

I am not involved in the Houston Chapter, but I am very involved in the Dallas. Jay Stine is the executive director, he is an Aggie. Email at jaystine@quailcoalition.org. He will get you connected and put you to work.

Really the best way to go about finding a quail lease, is to get involved in a Quail Coalition chapter. The volunteers that run them are very avid bird hunters and have a good network for leases. Its going to be hard to find a decent lease without getting into these networks. Good quail leases are out there, and there are plenty of them, but they are pretty guarded.
Where in Texas are you ?
