When you walk through your grass or mow, do you have a whole bunch of small moths flying up out of the grass?

That's fungus. Mine get's like that when I get gray leaf spot pretty bad, although I do not see many spots in your pic. I hate name brand stuff, but I have had really good luck with Scotts DiseaseEx. Spread and water in.

Gray leaf spot fungus. You can see the spots in your picture. I think Neil Sperry recommends Scott's DiseaseEx as mentioned above.

That **** got about 10% of my yard this year.

Seems like the heat killed it off last year but not this year. I treated mine to some kind of Scotts kill em stuff but all it seemed to do was keep it from spreading.

I hate that *****

It's not cheap, but after putting up with fungus destroying my turf every year and not responding to other fungicide treatments, I tried this and it was very effective:

Looks real similar to my problem area. Early on after the initial green up, I started getting pretty sizable yellow areas and then the die off in patches. I could see the spots on the leaves and just now am getting aggressive with fungicide. Will seek out the Scotts or Azprop if current stuff doesn't remedy the situation. Just feet away, my neighbor has nice, lush green. 80% of the rest of my grass is nearly perfect, just this one problem area that is full sun.

Yep. Dosed the yard in spring to stave off all sorts of fungus issues including TARR. Probably about due for a summer dose after all the rains.

Just received it, but i can't find anything in the application instructions about before or after mowing or that interval for application.. or if it even matters. I'd think at least 24hrs prior or after would be fine and maybe after to get more application to soil.
