Howdy! I'm taking my family to the Pensacola, FL area for family vacation the week of July 19th and would like to view one of the two Blue Angels practices either on the 20th or 21st at the Naval Aviation Museum. The only kicker is the Museum is currently open to any and all visitors who can access NAS Pensacola under the Navy's current policy restrictions... This policy allows anyone with valid DoD ID cards access to the installation (including the Museum). Those DoD ID card holders are also allowed to escort up to 15 guests (limited to 2 vehicles) onto the installation and the Museum.

Any Ags out there willing to help me out? Wife and I are Class of '09 and '10 respectively.

Well, to be honest, hadn't thought of it and a point well taken! Happy to treat a steak dinner or some beer or some liquor.

McGuires Irish Pub in Pcola has a pretty tasty prime rib.

And their green punch will **** you up.

We have seen the air show at NAS Pensacola many times and each time I go, I am in awe! It is also great to watch them practice over the beach!

You know, great thought we were wanting to check out the museum too but can the practice be readily seen from the beach? Or do you know if there are there any other vantage points that are good in case we cannot get on base? Thanks!

They usually have a schedule published for when they will be practicing over the beach, cuz I believe they normally do that but some weeks they are out of town for air shows

The museum is awesome, and it's too bad it's restricted right now.
