Anybody have any experience with the Massimo Warriors?

Seem like a very solid and sturdy rig. We have had Polaris Rangers but are thinking about trading in our 3 seater ranger for one of these. Was very impressed at first glance, solid metal all the way around instead of cheap plastic, standard with a winch, and 27" tires, didn't get to test drive yet. Haven't really heard much about these, and had a hard time finding any reviews online. Wanted to see if anyone on here has had any experience with them.

Thanks!

They're high end Chinese crap. They use Honda cloned everything and it's cheaply made. My buddy had a blue 6 seater that was nice enough when it was brand new. It started every time and ran great at the lease for about a year, then it literally started falling apart. First it was the ignition just rattled loose and fell down into the dash. Then the lights stopped working, then the roll bar started rattling from the bolt threads wearing thin, then the ball joints and whole front suspension started clunking really loud on every little bump. After the 1 year service and "valve adjustment" it never idled correctly again. He ended up trading (got nothing for it) on a new Mule Pro FXT. You rarely see them or hear about them and that should be a cautionary tale. They're just not good, built to last machines.

Thank you for the info! That's a bummer to hear. We thought we may have found something a bit more sturdy for our needs out at the ranch. It just seems like we are fixing our Polaris is all the time. The axles and bearings on those things are low quality.

It seems that in the last few years Polaris has gone to **** and Kawasaki has really stepped their game up. Used to hear the opposite

Yeah we used to have a mule and we got a Polaris and it made the mule seem like a dinosaur but seeing the new mules lately has got us wanting to test drive one. It just seems hard to find a reliable, and fair priced UTV these days.

I've had a Massimo M500 since Thanksgiving of 2016. I had some problems with it initially but it was traced to bad fuel from Tractor Supply. After the fuel line was drained and fresh gas put in, it has been pretty bulletproof. Much more so than the Polaris 500 that preceded it.

It's smaller than most side by sides but other than that, it has been a good unit. Comes standard with windshield, winch, digital dash board, fancy wheels and a roof. 4 wheel drive works good and it has a setting that locks all four wheels in low range 4X4.

In all fairness, I seldom deliberately drive it through mud just to see what it will do. It's been in plenty of mud but I drive around it when I can. I've never tested it or pushed it or jumped it or mud bogged in it. It's used around my rural house and deer lease pulling small trailers and hauling gear and I have found it to be very acceptable.

Massimo needs to do something about the mufflers on these as they are louder than I like. The engine cover is pretty cheesy and the latches that hold the windshield on tend to snap, but overall it has been a good unit. I change the oil regularly and use only ethanol free fuel in it.

The Warrior is what got me looking at Massimo's. I went to the dealer in Hearne (very nice guy) and drove and priced them. The price point on it sent me back home. I later bought the M500 on a Black Friday sale at Tractor Supply.

I'm looking at getting a Kubota RTV-X1140 for the ranch. My BIL is willing to go halfsies with me on it. Anyone have one that they can report back on? Kubota is offering 0% financing for 48 months. Seems like a deal to

My folks have a couple of Kubota. The bigger diesel one had some drive train issues but runs great. The gas one has had few problems.

They're relatively slow, but they're stable goats.
