I've been wanting to start this thread for a while now, but I'm not sure how well it will go over.

My grandfather on my mother's side would always point out when it was a "beautiful day in Texas". He passed a few years ago now, but my mom and one of her brothers still love to text each other pictures of sunsets, sunrises, and landscapes in Texas they come across.

So I'm starting this today maybe is a tribute to him, but definitely is a tribute to the greatest place on Earth, Texas, because that's how he would want it.

So anyone and everyone post up the best pictures you have of the best sunrises, sunsets, and landscapes. And we don't have to limit it to just Texas, because I know a lot of you guys have great pictures of hunting, fly fishing, etc in other states.

I think it would be awesome to have a daily sunrise/sunset for the board each day, put together by everyone here on the OB

Great thread. I can still remember my grandmother singing "oh what a beautiful morning" any time you were over there early in the morning. She grew up a proud west Texas cowgirl.

Wife's ranch out in Doss TX, house originally built in 1880s from rock dug on the property. When renovating they knocked off the stucco revealing all of the original rock in perfect condition.
