I just picked one up on primary arms. The whole retail market has been out for quite sometime. Once I saw they had some in stock I purchased one, even though it is a 200 series and not a 300 series. Difference is just nicer furniture and controls.

Well now I need a red dot sight. I have an eotech 512 on my AR but feel like since this will be used for hog hunting within 100 yards that a 2" MOA dot sight will be better suited.

Any recs?

I have the 9mm version and have a sig red dot, the 100 dollar version. I plan on putting a trijicon on it soon. That's what a lot of people are using. Going to sbr it soon as well. 10mm is on my list.

Personally, I'd want a bigger dot for faster acquisition. If you are staying inside 100 yards, you don't need the precision of the smaller dot.

I have a holosun on mine I always like the idea of having the 65moa circle.

It is my favorite gun right now.

I like smaller, more precise dots. The big ones are not any faster. Its a glowing dot, its not hard to pick up quickly.

Agree. It takes me longer to line up a shot on a larger dot that covers the target.

It's bad that you don't already have a 22 for plinking, yes.

I mean a banshee. I have two 22lr pistols. Rifle tore up. Really want a Banshee 22lr SBR with a silencer and a high capacity mag.

Got my 9mm banshee a few weeks back. A lot of fun. Have a vortex viper on it with a riser.

Gun functions great, but still has more recoil impulse than my buddies MP5s.

Since I don't have a suppressor, I'm thinking about swapping out the weight in the bolt and seeing if I can reduce the recoil a bit. By no means is it "a lot" of recoil. Just more than the MP5, which I kind of considered the closest competitor in the whole "9mm delayed blowback pcc/sub gun" category

Interesting. I ordered the 9mm so will be curious to see what you find if you do this.

Cmmg makes interchangeable weights for the bolt of the gun. The lighter bolts will result in less recoil (less reciprocating mass). But the lighter weights may also cause the gun the not cycle properly, especially with the suppressor on.

The gun ships with the heaviest mass, so, since I don't do a ton of shooting with a suppressor, I figure I will throw one of the lighter weights in and see how it feels.

And it's not like the recoil is bad by any means. If you have ever shot an MP5, they are ridiculously soft shooting. I figure with one of the lighter weights in, the gun will feel more like the MP5.

The weight kit is only like $25
