Is that scope rated for pellet gun shock? I'm looking for an upgrade but I've read both that it is and that it isn't. Any issues?

Got three total yesterday.

These are the two squirrels that got caught in the trap at the same time.

So far it's been mounted with my Gamo mount that came with the rifle for several days and held zero, no issues at all yet. Taken 5-6 squirrels and withstood a few rounds of target practice.

Guess only time will tell if any long term issues.

Thanks I'll check back. The one that came with my Gammo isn't horrible but I just missed two head shots. Sure enough it's 2 inches high. Haven't zeroe'd it in for a couple weeks but probably have only taken a half dozen shots since then. That won't do.

First one of the day and the week. Weather has been keeping them holed up. Still on the money.

Been catching a whiff of something around my house that smelled like a dead animal. Walked by a big live oak that's in my front yard and found the source of the smell. Dead squirrel laying at the base of the tree. I have no idea how it died. Kinda bummed me out, I like watching them around my house.

Squirrel #2 just now. I must have hit him 5 times before he fell.

My wife and her .410 single shot got #4 a few days ago. I saw #5 enter the yard going for the bird feeder. It is only a matter of time.

Trapped another one yesterday.

So that's 5 since last Wednesday.

We have five pecan trees. Using my gamo my best year was 325 from Jan 1 to Dec 31.

Doesn't make a dent. Multiple days of six in a day, but never seven.

I'm at seven this month, with the fiancee taking the most impressive kill I know of. She was in the garden weeding with a trowel, and turned around to tell me something. Squirrel was four feet behind her. She threw the trowel, hit it in the head, and it started twitching. Her ninja skills were quickly negated by her going full office space on it afterwards.

This squirrel was the cause for my warpath. It moved into the garage over winter and has escaped rat traps, poison, live traps, and chewed through the cord to electronic pest repellant. I've camped out in the garage with a pellet pistol, and it never came out.

I love this thread. I've bagged 4 this week.

Did a face plant when it fell out of the tree.

My wife, as a Jr. High kid, raised a squirrel that a cat drug up to the house. It was still eyes closed and hairless. Made a great pet for her, until it got too big and she let it go.

So she's always had a soft spot for squirrels.

About ten years ago, they chewed the wires of two vehicles within a few days, resulting in about a $100 repair bill for each.

Her soft spot has faded.

Still thinks they're cute, as long as they aren't in our yard.

Do ground squirrels count? If so, I'm over 300 for the last couple weeks.

Pumpmaster 760. It shoots high and is inconsistent.

My Pumpmaster 760 was shooting erratic so I re-zeroed it this afternoon and now it's shooting much more consistently. Just a tad high and to the right of bullseye but I'm happy with it now. Tree rats and wal-mart birds beware!

I got one that was setting up shop in a roof vent about two weeks ago. My weapon of choice for that head shot - at 25-30ft - was my sons Red Ryder BB gun. The others squirrels took notice.

You'll shoot your eye out, kid.

Good to know. Been looking at a new pellet rifle lately with all the squirrel killing threads.

For the longest I was missing. I made a target and saw it was shooting high and noticed it was inconsistent.

Since then I've hit several but I don't recommend one
