I have my favorite but my wife thinks it's too spicy. Her parents are coming in town this weekend and can't handle spicy foods.

What's your favorite store bought non-spicy bbq rub?

The best no heat at all store bought rub I've tasted is standard Dizzy Pig. It's based on Demara sugar and a dry spice blend. You can get that any place that sells ceramic cookers like Ace Hardware. They make a chicken rub called Tsunami Spin that works well for birds that has less sugar. They make a Southern BBQ blend that adds in a touch of heat.

The best with heat is Killens. For a store rub that's really good stuff. But it does have a kick. That you can get at HEB

This. Available at quite a few places and the best I've found for when you want something other than S&P.

Meat Church is good
Also Williams Food Company out of Houston. They make some good seasoning. They are like Fiesta and make many different ones.

Also the Fiesta Rubs are good to. They have many different ones to pick from

If doing chicken my favorite is Fiesta chicken rub, I don't know what to recommend on pork as I usually make my own.

whenever I go through Lockhart, and I am running low, I will stop by Blacks and buy theirs. A little goes a long way, but it is good.

I am a Smitty's guy for the actual BBQ though.

No real help on chicken. I don't do it enough so I typically just use whatever I have sitting around.

For pork ribs I have always used Zach's sweet rub:
