Anyone get an LTC recently? Curious if we are seeing delays due to COVID and/or an increase in applications. I know it typically takes 3 to 4 weeks when times are "normal".

I took the class with my wife last June and I did my prints and submitted all my paperwork right away and got my card in less than 14 days.
She put it off until March of this year. She got her prints done and then DPS came back and said since she wasn't born in the US they needed a copy of her passport. She scanned that in toward end of March. She received her card in the mail this week.

On a related question, could I even get my LTC right now? Been putting it off forever and now regretting it. I know there are web-based classes, but are the range test and fingerprinting possible these days?

Yes

I submitted all my information and fingerprints about 2 weeks ago. We will see if they are still processing "quickly"

My wife just got hers in like 2 weeks

Most ranges are still open, so I do not see that as being an issue.

I just had to retake mine a couple of months ago. Took about 40 days

Mentioned in another thread a while back (it all blends together now) but the sheriff in my county in Colorado suspended new CHL licensing indefinitely and are only processing renewals. Mine expires in May and I renewed mine the beginning of March before the shutdowns happened and still haven't received my new one.

Isn't Colorado a shall issue?

Anyone with any current wait time info? Hoping it is less than the estimated 60 days they are saying.

Just got mine in less than 2 weeks of submitting all info and getting fingerprints. Submitted paperwork first then fingerprints were a week after. I think I remember seeing all paperwork and background check were completed by the time I went to get the orints

Received mine exactly 14 days after sending in my prints. This was in August

Took class at the end of August, but couldn't get a fingerprint appt until mid Sept. Received license in mail exactly 2 weeks after submitting my fingerprints.

Larimer County Colorado - Requested an appointment with SO in mid-September (new CHL), first appointment available is mid-January 2021!

Submitted application and did my prints before even taking the class at Champions in August. License came in the mail six weeks later.

I submitted everything a little over 2 weeks again, on Sept 28th. I keep trying to log in to check status and nothing comes up. I called and they are saying they have everything but it just takes time to get everything logged in to show on the status page. I guess there is nothing else to do but wait...

DPS received my application on August 10th. I just got my LTC in the mail today, a little over 2 months later.

Finally had my information loaded when I logged in to check my status. Now everything is green checked and has been saying "Print Pending" for a week now. How long does it take to print something?

I am assuming everything is done and now just in line to get it all printed out and mailed out to me? Really wanted it before the election but I guess it doesn't really matter.

That is helpful to know. Submitted my last piece on 10/15. I keep trying to check status and there is nothing there. Guess it just takes a while.

Yep, it took mine about 2.5 weeks to show up. Then another week or so with the pending prints and background check. Last Friday everything was green and said print pending and is still saying that.

Submitted all of my stuff on 9/28.

Was just wondering how long others were stuck on print pending. I am assuming it is not yet printed, but when it does it will be mailed?
