I certainly hope you're right. I'll maintain my expect the worst, hope for the best mentality For now. Hard to be disappointed that way!

Sound suppression should actually be 4th- 5th most important.

Reduced flash
Reduced recoil
Better accuracy
Faster follow up
Sound suppression.
Looks cool.

Not for a big game bolt action. These would be my requirements:

1) sound suppression
2) no reduction of accuracy
3) weight
4) quality of mounting system

if counting on sound suppression to be number 1 factor. prepared to be disappointed.

Yep. I own 3, and my primary large caliber hunting gun hasn't been shot without a can in three seasons.

They all do the following:

- Suppress the sound. Not fully hearing safe, but much easier on the ears if I happen to shoot without ear protection. And animals are much less spooked when I shoot a suppressed large caliber rifle. Makes the follow up on 2 or 3 deer pretty easy.

- Don't negativiley impact the accuracy of an already very accurate gun. 1/2 MOA without the can, 1/2 MOA with it.

- Light weight, not making my guns less packable. All the cans I own are Ti.

- High quality TOMB mounts with conical shoulder lock ups. No terrible key-mod type mounts.

The inspectors are still working: we got a call from ATF telling us our paperwork was not in order... hopefully a couple emails, corrected forms and $$ it will get fixrd soon
