Like many companies back then, NETGEAR was antiquated and wasn't doing digital sales and marketing very well. I needed to be able to create my own product awareness on Amazon, so I started a beta program where I gave away product in exchange for feedback and some product reviews. We ended up with almost 200 Texag'ers (is that a word?) that were participating. It grew so much that I had to hand it off to one of our marketing gals. With the help of a great team, we grew the Amazon business almost 10X in five years. Back in 2018, I left NETGEAR to start my own company because I realized that there were so many great companies out there that still didn't understand eCommerce and I knew that I could help. I also looked forward to working with brands that had a bigger purpose than just to make shareholders rich. There's nothing wrong with that (yay capitalism!), but I wanted to help brands that are really making a difference in their communities.

I started Trek in January 2019 and it has gone well. I get to work with a lot of different brands and help them establish an eCommerce channel, first by developing a strategy for them, then implement the strategy and introduce a new culture so that they can be successful without me. Interstate does have these batteries, but Amazon just locked most of them down for a dangerous goods investigation, so we're not setting them up with Amazon just yet. If you live near and All Battery Center, you can pick them up there. Otherwise, we'll consider your suggestion for setting this up in the future.

Sorry for the dumb question, but will that jump starter have enough power for my Duramax? It seems like when looking at other models the amp ratings don't translate exactly to diesels.

They can jump up to an 8.0L engine. One guy recently wrote that he jump started a sky track fork lift.

If you put one or two items in your cart, you get 40% off. If you put three in there, that's when you qualify for the 50%. Make sense?

So is 1000 amps enough to start a completely dead battery on something like a f150 or expedition? I see lots of others that are 1500 or 2000+...

Yes, the 1,500 and 2,000 amp rating is mostly marketing. 1,000 is all you need

This one is apparently 1500 amps, but it differentiates between the size of gas and diesel engines.
