Maybe I'm just too cynical or maybe it's nothing, but upon closer inspection, what's going on beginning at the crown of the head between each antler all the way over to the right under the ear? Something in the background or evidence of Photoshop?

I have a very similar pic that I just downloaded from one of my cameras this evening. It shows a cull buck I shot that is about 3/4 the way to the ground after the shot. It's on my iPad. I'll see if I can get it over to my phone to post

I might be the hardest working man in the deer patch but I don't shop photos. That's a doe heading into the brush.

Is that the entry or exit side? Look at the bulge where the blood is coming out - just curious what is causing it?

Im no expert but maybe from the Cavitation caused by the entry wound of the bullet and blood forced into area/exiting the entry site.
