How long do you want to ignore this user?
I currently drive a 2014 F250 with a short bed. Of all the trucks I've owned, this was my first short bed. I can say for certain that when it's time to replace it, I'll be going back to a long bed. I'd rather deal with the mild headache of driving in town with it than not have the 8 foot bed.

I have a F250 with the long bed. I think the wheel base is 4" longer and it all showed up in the back seat area.....big difference if you have grown people in the back.......or so they say..

You get use to grabbing the first back to back space and taking a chunk of both.

Another plus is you don't get door dings.

How easy does dog hair vacuum off that seat cover?

I don't do a lot of vacuuming on the seats. I have a work vac that I do doors and floor with. I will normally run the vac back and forth between the seat and the back portion. It is one piece.

The pad has a hook at each corner that keeps it down. The back portion has two quick releases that fit over the head rests. I just take it off and wash it by itself. I do it pretty often and that does a good job.....ie if I vacuum I will wash it..

I have a 2010 F-250 short bed. Love it. 6' 9" is still a good amount of bed space

OK, thanks. Seat covers I've tried (Solvit, WeatherTech, etc.) either trap hair so bad it won't come off, almost as if the hair gets into the fabric weave somehow, or don't trap the hair much but don't fit the seat worth a crap.

I'll look into that Orvis cover. Thanks again.
