How long do you want to ignore this user?

I doubt the feds would share the info with them but I dont know of anything that would keep them from requiring the info from dealers when filing sales and use tax statements.

Understand I am not saying they ARE going to do something. I'm just pointing out it wouldnt be that hard IF they wanted to start enforcing the regs.

Other thing about it is they are only going after the big players, for now. Small shop on GunBroker won't be affected but the big guys like buds, palmetto, etc will.

Agree, if they start enforcing it, they are likely to start where they get the largest payout for the least input.

It's set up that way, I think if you do $100,000 in business or something like that in Texas you have to start doing sales tax. The "if they start enforcing it" is definitely key but I have a feeling they are going to as there is a loooooot of money they are losing to buds/etc.

$500,000 in previous 12 months is the threshold.

Knew it was something in the six figures but thought it was lower. I guess my biggest question is.. outside of a few super big ones, how do they actually go after to find out who is actually doing that much business in Texas? Maybe credit card companies keep records about that?
