Wow, we have used ABC on a quarterly basis for several years. Never had a problem with roaches. ABC changed their treatment procedure to exterior only. After a recent ABC exterior treatment began seeing them. Switched to a local outfit with both inside and outside treatment. Still seeing the damn things, cannot stand them, and drives wife NUTS!!! Live in Rockport, TX have not had any rain in several months. Couple of questions/comments: 1. We have never seen them prior to about 3 months ago. 2. Are the dry conditions a contributor? 3. As stated, been on a quarterly treatment plan here for 6 years. 4. Is there a 'BEST' treatment that can be applied by homeowner, ie, what is the best commercially available killer of these horrible insects? 5. Does the attic need to be treated? 6. What would cause a sudden outbreak after years of control?

I understand that complete eradication is impossible, however, have never seen the amount of small ones that are all of a sudden popping up. HELP!

We use Biotech here in Houston (The Woodlands). I can't recommend them enough. They come only once per year, but we don't have roaches inside or out of my home. I cannot abide a roach. I hate those things with a fiery passion. Good luck to you and yours. If you're seeing babies, you likely have an infestation.

Are you talking about the huge kind? The most effective solution in my experience is to foam up any gaps in the house, no matter how small. Plumbing penetrations, wall box to drywall gaps, electrical penetrations, baseboard to floor gap, you name it.

They're the SC state bird, and this is the first year I've encountered zero indoors.

We always had them when we lived in Aransas Pass. I would spray Demon WP (from Tractor Supply) around the exterior & use one of the "gel" baits that you squeeze out of the large syringe, indoors. After keeping up with these treatments we rarely had roaches in the house. Alternatively you could get a few chickens & turn them loose inside!
