2016 F250 6' bed. Have a turnover ball hitch and want to keep. I'm leaning towards non-skirted but the single tool box in the front. I also like some of the hay fork options. Anyone that uses one on the reg and can provide feedback is greatly appreciated.

I've thought about it, but then I think about how often I throw stuff in the bed of the truck. You can't do that unless you tie it down. It just seems like a royal pain.

I am interested in an older model 3/4 ton flatbed to use on farm. Need to be able to pull gooseneck trailer.

Get one with a tunnel unless you are going to leave the trailer on 100% of the time... and if that's the case, you probably would know that already.

Yes, get the tunnel if you are going to pull a lot of gooseneck trailers. That is where I messed up. Gotta jack every damn trailer way up. Wears me out!!!!

Thanks for the info on the tunnel.

Skirted or you're just a po-boy.

Edit to add: you will have a hard time finding one with a tunnel unless it is skirted or you have one custom made. Most likely will need to go with a "hauler" style flatbed.

With a skirted flatbed, be aware of potential to bottom out if you are traveling through ditches or nasty terrain.

The hayforks on the bed are an absolute lifesaver for us in the winter for feeding cattle. Most of the time it's easier to use the pickup instead of cranking the tractor and waiting for it to warm up.

I put a Norstar (non skirted) on an old dodge 2500 I had. I really liked it. I used to carry all sorts of things on it and rarely had to strap things down. I also had one toolbox welded on it.

Edit: it didn't have the hay forks. I'm not sure if norstar makes beds with forks or not.

I am looking for one for my pickup as well. 2016 long bed F350

I am down to a Reyes or Easley. The Norstar and Pronghorn beds are nice as hell, but too expensive. A guy here in Angelo wants 6k for his skirted Norstar beds and another grand to remove my bed.

My buddy went to Canyon and got a Reyes installed for 4K.

I like the Reyes. Didn't see a hay pick version. Guessing they can customize.
