Having a really hard time with the two little ones, especially the runt. Now that the others have already gained so much strength the little ones are missing out. We are trying to manage them as best we can. Fortunately my wife and I are both home today and tomorrow all day.

BB has a new hiding place under my daughter's doll house. Her pups are snoozing in that blue pool.

Unfortunately we lost him Thursday night.

He had no chance to feed with his big brothers and sisters. We had been bottle feeding him and keeping him on a heating pad. And BB was trying, but it wasn't to be. We pulled him out on Monday almost dead, fed him, and warmed him up. Every time we tried to re introduce him he would end up outside of the heap and cold. We tried to introduce him again on Thursday and ended up having to put him back on a heating pad and bottle feeding. Went to my son's baseball game Thursday night, came home and he was dead.

Sucks. But he was actually born without a sack and would not have lived past the first 12 hours if it wasn't for us. We have never had a true runt(we have called the smaller ones runts, but they were not true runts) like that before and probably would have kept him or given him to a family member. Hard to imagine he would have grown up and been healthy.

Sorry to hear, I had a runt growing up. He was half the size of what he was suppose to weight. Great and loyal dog.

They certainly can be. I had a runt when I was in school that was a great dog. But he had health problems and died when he was six. Some turn out OK. Some have all kinds of issues.

BB is just a ridiculously good mother. These two are much smaller than the other 10. She is feeding them by themselves.

One is going with her biggest brother to the same home. I am really excited about that. She was a bottle baby and is real docile and so is he.

The other one survived the 12 puppies vs 9 nipples battle the entire way. She is scrappy as hell. Staying local here in Belton.

difference in smallest to largest is already four pounds at six weeks.

The last three puppies left today. Thanks to the power of Texags 10 of the 12 puppies went to users on this website. It was a hell of a lot of fun.

We hope to do it one more time, but it will depend entirely on BBs recovery. She is a fantastic mother and tends to get the itch a couple of times a year. We will see.

I posted a few videos on here but if anyone is interested the rest are on Youtube channel kpg4923

Thanks again.

So after my two sweet children raised and gave away litter three years in a row just before Christmas, they finally get to keep one! This is Oreo.

These two kids raise the puppies from the very beginning and its pretty tough on them sometimes seeing them all leave.

Merry Christmas everyone!!

How sweet is your daughter to come and say thank you before even holding that puppy! You have raised them right!

That video made me cry!

Thank you so much. She is the sweetest most beautiful thing in the world.

Funny story. She asked Santa for a bike and a turtle. My son asked for baseball cards and a Dallas Cowboys Pillow(he saw it at Academy). When they woke up this morning there was a pillow, baseball cards, and her bike, but no turtle. We went out for breakfast this morning(La Quinta Continental breakfast where some relatives spent the night) and she was clearly upset but promised that everything was OK. I assured her that Santa wasn't quite done.

She quickly understood why Santa left the turtle out.

When she was in Kindergarten she asked Santa, on Dec 22, for a duck. All I could come up with was a really nice decorative duck made in the USA from Bass Pro. It was north of $150. My mom found her a stuffed animal duck. The decorative piece is a fixture in our living room and will be the first thing I carry into her dorm room/apartment when she leaves home.
