Does anyone remember or can anyone help me find a post from 2-3 years back regarding the difference between liberals and conservatives? The particular phrase I'm looking for centered around the differing views of a utopian society. I know it's a long shot, but it was a great post/comment and I wanted to share.

Let The search function on TexAgs didn't work? I've had decent luck with it if I can recall the username of the poster,

Or do a google search on the keywords and use the site designator. For intance, I've posted my photos of Buffalo Lake NWR. I could probably find them by searching

Serious answer - the books you want are Liberty and Tyranny and Ameritopia. Both written by Mark Levin. In my opinion the greatest constitutional conservative mind of our generation.

The thread and comments I'm looking for were on OB, and I do not believe they were quoted from a source. IIRC they were just ad hoc comments from a frequent poster. Obviously I can't remember who, but I do recall the quote included references to how Liberals believe they can legislate us into a utopian society.

Just because I post on the lunatics board doesn't mean I'm all in with them. Most of my posts are not TDS nor Trumpette. My comment was OB doesn't need the infiltration. I also post on the land of misfit toys, aka General Board. But that stupid "your mom" doesn't need to spread over to OB. Ok, sonny boy?

I've made a comment before about people who believe man is perfectible and are looking to create utopia in this life and not the next...something about how if you think you can make paradise on earth if only everyone agreed with you, you're much more likely to use the gallows to get rid of everyone who doesn't agree with you.

That was the primary difference between the American and French Revolutions, and the reason communists killed an unknown number in the MILLIONS in the 20th Century trying to "fix" mankind.

Utopianists are dangerous as hell.
