My wife has been pestering me about getting a mini fridge for our outdoor patio. Any suggestions/recommendations? We live in central Texas so it will need to be able to keep beverages cold when it is 100 degrees outside.

My neighbor spent a lot on his first one. It didn't hold up as well as he thought it would. He then went through a few cheap ones. Now he uses a cooler or the inside fridge.

We've got a fridge out there but we end up just using our cooler when people come over because we keep bait and stuff in the fridge.

Have you thought about making a little Cooler holder?

If you want a good one then make sure you get an outdoor rated unit. Uline is good, Perlick is better. Unless you're buying a premium brand, I wouldn't buy the entry level model and I'd stay away from grill companion models and Home Depot/Lowe's/Walmart floor stock products if you want them to last more than a couple of years and be cold.
