Hey, guys. Just started following this thread....I got a question similar to one of the other guys. My grandad left behind a pair of Justin's he had in the 80's. I can't tell if they're alligator or sea turtle. They're in good condition. Any suggestions on how to tell them apart? I plan on taking them to a boot shop.
You're welcome....PfishnShootn said:
Rather Be Fishing, please step out of the car & keep your hands where I can see them...
I'm familiar with the law (& i'll assume you might be too) it doesn't matter what I am, as long as the 2 people buying & selling are both living in Texas, & that those pre-ban boots don't cross state lines. I have no intention of selling them at this point, however, I would like to have a better idea of what skin they are in case I do decide to sell them (legally). Your advice did answer my question, so thanks. I appreciate it.
Do you still have those boots.the pit man said:Your welcome to give these a try in you like, they may fit. They're nicesuburban cowboy said:the pit man said:

They don't have any more 12d. I bought them. They weren't the exact style I was looking for, but size 12 is damn hard to find. She had five or six pair of turtle boots left -I think 4 were men's and 2 women's. She said she sold three pair of size 12 to one guy earlier in the week.
This was in Warrenton at the big antique show they have twice a year at Zap Hall.
