Hell I wouldn't even mind if they were farm raised sea turtle.
Their hide does make a very fine looking boot.

I used to share that desire and recall seeing several on Craigslist. I think if the boots are old enough that they predate the ban, they are ok...they are just obviously going to be old.

Have a pair of Justin sea turtles my papa bought back in the 50s. Unfortunately he is 6'5" and wears a 12 EE while I am a 10.5. I could get them redone to my size as they predate the ban but I don't want to risk potentially ruining the leather.

If you get some sea turtle boots made be sure and get them with aardvark tops so it will be worth your while if you get busted.

If you were every willing to let them go please let me know. I have done my research and they are 100% legal to own and sell as long as they are not new or transported across state lines. I also struggle finding them because I am 6'3" and have a large foot.

Again ... those sea turtles have got to be some of the finest looking boots in the world.
I know some Vietnamese shrimpers down in Freeport that could probably get you a few good sized sea turtles if you threw some cash their way. What the hell you'd do with them after that I got no idea.
