I say shopped based on it looks like the guy's coat is peaking through on the far side of the cat just under the arm in the foreground.. The way he is standing that 5'9" is extremely wide and probably not in the physical shape to pick up a cat that size. What they did was stretch the cat to the right side to make it "bigger"
