Anyone had a chance to handle one?

Concept is intriguing. I've got several thermal sights and Flir Breach inbound for a hand-held scanner so, not sure I have a real need for one....

TheEyeGuy ordered one awhile back iirc. He messed with it more than I did.

Sig has quietly (too quietly really) made some pretty cool optics. The Echo was unique and worth a look at due to the price (sub $1500 thermal). It doesn't have the widest field of view and is a little larger than I'd like, but otherwise, definitely a cool unit. They don't make them anymore, I don't think, so finding one may be hard, but if you do, you'll probably score a pretty good deal on it.

Low res, small FOV, projects light onto shooter... I'm not a fan.

That said, I have several customers who love them. One in particular who hunts quite a bit near here likes it because it doesn't mess with his vision as bad as looking directly into an eye piece.
