Thats a beautiful rifle. How is the bluing. It looks like there is a pretty big spot on the right side of the barrel forward of the stock. But that could be the light.

Every time I go in for an ear lowering, my barber tells me which gun(s) he's recently traded, shipping via USPS. Tells the guy at the counter he's mailing a floor lamp. I had to double take this one - seeing someone asking to do it the right way.

You can send a long gun through USPS without an FFL in state or a handgun through common/contract carrier without an FFL in state.

Yep, but in my experience they all make it as difficult as possible to do so and sometimes employees will refuse even if what you're doing is legal and within policy.

I'd also be very cautious lying about contents if sending USPS, because postal inspectors can and will come after you for it, especially for guns.

I've basically given up on the hassle and either use an FFL to ship or send it with friends from place to place with the yallwala network.

WTS my 6.5 Grendel AR-15 build. I am looking to get $2,018.00 (whoop!) for it. Those are pretty but bigger than I need currently. If you have anything left handed in the .308 family i may be interested. Particularly if it is a 700 or 700 footprint action.

If it was for me I'd be having a tough time not buying it…but I shoot with the correct hands.

Keeping my eyes open for something suitable (or suitable with a little work) for my southpaw youngest's first deer rifle. Have a youth stock for a 700 short action and already load for 243/260 so that's where the preference comes from. I've got some time but LH stuff seems hard to come by so always looking.
