Ok I gotta ask...why would you get a lower receiver engraved "6.5 Grendel"?

I did that on purpose. I have >10 of them, so they get confusing. I also made an exact replica of that rifle for my dad for his 70th birthday. So it's easy for him.

Anyone have any used .556 AR parts? Looking for a budget build while I set up my new .270 for hunting season. This is my first AR build so I'm not too picky on parts or brands, just looking to make a fun rifle/pistol for targets that I can build on or replace later on.

Cool. Are you looking for fixed or collapsible stock, barrel length, flat top, color preference, etc.?

It really depends on the barrel length, of a rifle, 18-20 inch with a flat top so I can mount a scope, any color honestly as this is my first build with the platform. If a pistol, I'd prefer 10 or 10.5. I like the magpul style stocks for a rifle and any flat style brace for the pistol length.

Anyone seeing any stripped AR lowers in stores?

I have a polymer one in the safe that I'm hesitant to use unless absolutely necessary. I bought it second hand so I'm guessing I cannot use it in a pistol build.

I'll be trying to get a hold of EyeGuy tomorrow and see if he has anything.
