Click through to my profile. Sorry man. I probably get 25-50 spam calls a day so I try not to post it for the bots to pick up.

Bought this 1894 in .44 mag off of a lead from TexAgs. Most of y'all saw it. It's actually not a JM Marlin. It has a little speckling on the left side of the receiver but is otherwise good to go. This is a first year transition Marlin to Remington which is the riskiest Marlin that you could possibly buy.

But it shot this at 100 yards today. Federal American Eagle 240gr SP. deer killing cartridges.

That is stupid accurate. And only took a few minutes to dial in. Don't let them tell you that Marlin transition guns are all junk because this one is a peach.

If that's what it is then yes. Webers has one on every rifle shooting lane. I have used them for years and sighted in dozens of rifles on them. If I was going to buy one for myself I would buy that one.

Yes. I have one that I bought to use in place of a lead sled for my kids to use. I wanted them to have to manipulate the rifle and feel the recoil more than when on a sled. I am happy with it.

Any interest in a Savage 110 Long Range Hunter in 300 WM?

Contemplating putting this up for sale to finish a few projects i'm working on.

10 rounds or less down the barrel. Have roughly 30 bullets to include.
Has a scope mounted (could come with or without said scope)

I hate to see a lever action like that with a 50mm scope. Just ain't right....especially for a 44mag carbine with a 125 yard range or so....
Maybe just me but......

Reactions like this are why "tactical" lever guns with cans and lasers are so amusing to me.

Not so much because they're useful, but because they make gun fashionistas uncomfortable.

I don't disagree.

That being said I shot it against an unscoped .44 mag Deerfield carbine and an unscoped Marlin 1894 Cowboy Limited in .45 Colt.

The other two guns were about three-four inch groups, the .44 with the same ammo. This gun with the scope shot .5 moa twice.

Is it overkill at 100 yards. Probably. I would shoot a deer with any of the three at that distance. But was one more accurate with the scope. Yes and it wasn't close.

Edit to add, in other words I have shot dozens of pistol carbines of all kinds and have never shot one that accurately, whether it had iron sites, a scope, a red dot, or whatever. before this gun my most accurate is am old Winchester in 25-20, out to 50 yards.

I shoot a scoped 44 mag revolver. And have a scoped 44 mag carbine myself. And several scoped lever guns.....

I just meant that size scope is way out or balance on that rifle....for me....

Cool beautiful lever gun...and a bonus it is accurate. That size scope is a takeaway....for me. Just doesn't seem like a good match.....for me. Like putting a high power big objective on a 22lr or a shotgun.

I get your point now.

And yes I agree. That scope is overkill. It was just the scope that was on the gun when I bought it. I will probably switch it out at some point.

Is this the same rifle as yours? I just bought it not too long ago but haven't shot it yet. Was worried a little about accuracy. Mine is 30-30 though.

No that is a model 336. Mine in that picture is an 1894. The 1894s are all pistol calibers like .45 colt, .44 mag. 32-20, etc. the 336 is rifles calibers like 32 special, 30-30, etc.

You have what IMHO is the best action for a 30-30. That's a great gun.

My model 336 is a 30-30 made in 1958. It shoots about 1.5- 2 inches at 100 yards. It's plenty accurate with just Core Lokt.

That's a keeper for sure.
