I'm going to try a few spots in Lexington we have, but so far I haven't seen any teal. My best duck spot isn't anything but a puddle right now. Hopefully it gets better over the next few days.

Hunting Eagle Lake both days this weekend!

I'll be sitting in my blind in Chauvin, LA. Just need some teal to show up. I was out early this past Saturday morning working on my blind and only saw about 18-20 teal.

If y'all got any extra, send 'em to Louisiana.

My normal 90 ac lake is about 5 ac of water thanks to the local water shed board that thought they had the right to drain my lake to "work" on my dam. Been draining it since July 4th. Killed 1000's of fish. Only silver lining is I planted acres of millet. So if the water ever comes back up this season it will be on. They did the same thing last year and Harvey filled it up in 6 hrs. Don't want that to happen again, but a solid 3-4 in rain should get me 20-30 acres back. There was a group of 30 birds a couple of weeks ago, but with the water so low after shooting the first group the rest will be gone.

Went by myself Saturday. Only shot twice, missed both times.

Went Sunday with my lease buddy and his son. We shot 6 and missed a couple others. Not many Teal in SE Louisiana yet. I grilled my two (olive oil, salt, pepper) and this was my supper last night.
