A lot depends on how you cook it. If you cook a grass fed steak like you would a grain fed steak, you will likely be disappointed. For grass fed beef, you need to cook it lower and slower.NotGibbs said:
I'm not sure if you've had grass fed before, but be aware before you go and buy in bulk that there is a difference in taste. Some people prefer it, some don't. I'd suggest trying it (if you haven't already) before dropping a pretty penny on a bunch of it
A few years ago, someone had a taste test of grass fed beef compared to grain fed beef with the beef cooked by experienced chefs and most preferred the grass fed beef.
As a kid, I grew up on grass fed beef. Whenever we'd sell cattle, we'd keep one back and keep on pasture until slaughter weight when we'd take it to the butcher. I still remember going to a steak restaurant in Dalhart that people in the area thought well of. My grain fed steak was hardly edible compared to the grass fed beef I was used to eating.
