I got one for Christmas and it is pretty cool. I can fit my Beretta ARX 100 in it with the stock folded and the barrel pulled out.

I thought about separating my upper and lower and putting it in there. Mine is 25" in total length. I was originally looking for a 32"case, but can't beat that price for the quality.

I was wanting to pick up the rifle case after Christmas for a new gun and it looks like SAMs has discontinued it. Can't find it in store or online anymore...

The two I picked up in the store in Midland were in a stack of maybe 20, but hidden behind other items on an end-cap, with only 5 visible from the side. Well hidden.

Well, it'll fit a broken down 8" .300 BLK with a Surefire brake. Barely. It's tight, but it works.

Is the foam deep enough to set the lower in vertically (handle first/magwell first)?

Maybe not? OUTSIDE DIMENSIONS 20" X 15.77" X 7.41"


My rough AR15 image would make me think this would not work unless canted a little.

I can fit 1 x AR15 pistol lower and up to 2 x flattop 8.5" uppers with linear compensators attached on one level.
I would say there is between 1/4" to 1/2" of a gap on both ends.

is there 2 levels of foam that you could do the upper diagonally then another layer of foam and lower with mags on the top? Or maybe inlay one portion into the lid foam

There is a layer in the lid, a layer with pick squares, and 2 more layers below. 4 total layers.
I pulled out the pick square level to put mags and accessories under the actual gun halves.
I think each layer is about 1.5" thick.

The barrel is 8". And the flame suppressor is the Noveske Flaming Pig and it puts the whole upper close to not fitting in the case. But thanks to the VTOR folder, I'm all set.

It will just barely fit a Sig MPX folded. I think if I cut the foam right I can get a suppressor in the box as well.

I went by to pick up one of these yesterday. They were out of stock at my regular Sam's. Looked online to confirm and the price was back up to about $30.

My dad loves his. It's a little heavy to carry around a lot, but it has wheels. That's probably my only complaint with them is weight.
