Lot 40 is a great 100% rye from Canada and it isn't coming from the same distillery in Indiana as all the others. It, with a little real Absinthe, makes a top notch Sazerac.

Couldn't care less. I drink whisky for the taste not for the back story. If you're buying a whisky simply because you think it was Capone's favorite, you're probably a hipster.

Bulleit has been my staple but I've been enjoying the Rittenhouse BIB a lot lately.

Agree completely. I did think it was an interesting read. Personally, I drink bourbon.

If you are in the Houston area the local Yellow Rose Distillery makes a very nice rye. Available at Total Wine etc.
