Nope. 50 miles per day means lots of rain over a lot of area. And Harvey is projected to move in a circular path around the area. That is why flooding is the biggest concern.

I think we all agree that sensational journalism is a problem and is totally unnecessary. We can all agree to that without discounting the actual damages and destruction to certain neighborhoods that has occurred. Not saying you were doing that. I'm just saying it.

I understand there are some folks in an RV park that did not fare well and our prayers are with them. Rockport seems to have taken a much harder hit. The rain is still forcasted to fall to the north and west of Houston along with Houston getting additional rains. WTF do you think that rain flows to?

My buddy had to keep manning the tugs in the bay of corpus they had to push a loaded down ocean going tanker and keep it pushed up against the docks to keep it from rolling and causing a massive spill. 3 tugs were pushing it all night he said at one point the winds were blowing at 135 mph and he said it was the sketchiest seas he's ever been in.

This is so cute that they are telling rich people not to come down. Lol there is going to be a riot.
There are many people there that aren't rich or have worked their lives to retire on the coast. Are they, or your "rich" people worth less to you? Give us a break with those comments. For the record...I'm far from rich and don't know anyone with a house there. Regardless, I am familiar with the area and this affects everyone.

Saw a photo with a view of the neighbor's house still visible. That and a pic of 2 streets up that all houses are still standing. So there is some hope.
