I cant stand the drama either, but the truth is nobody knew how bad it would be. Better to be over cautious and seem dramatic than downplay and endanger people.

I don't think we really know yet. If I understand it right the fear for Houston is the swelling of the bayous that COULD happen over the next several days as this thing hangs out over land and then moves north or east.foleyt said:
Unless something drastically changes I think Houston will be mostly spared of the flooding they were predicting. We're getting enough time between bands for stuff to drain a bit
