Half a dozen neighbors and us are riding it out. We're in NW Corpus and actually have topography, so flooding is not really an issue.

Be safe B1. I don't know your elevation, but storm surge is one of the worst blows Mother Nature metes out.

Nice find! I've spent the night on that ship with my son's Scout unit a couple times. Those planes are historic artifacts - glad they are moving them downstairs.
I just hope the ship survives with the storm surge.

The way Clear Lake floods, she may be delivering that baby at home. No way to get to the hospital; paramedics can only go by boat. This is not a smart decision.

State farm Agent here they are telling us the best route and fastest out is take 37 to san Antonio all lanes are heading out of town at this time and tell them to go 35 to san marcos then overLonestar06 said:

I would go 181 to 123 in Karnes CIty to the 130 toll road outside of Seguin to 21. 77 might suck with VIctoria in the path.

Yep. Dolly was around Baffin bay. We only got rain, but the surge got to the dune line.

The problem is NOT riding out the storm. It is that the rainfall flooding may trap you in areas for WEEKS.
