A lot are cancelling classes on Monday because they are being used as shelters

I'm usually wrong, but I think this one is going to suck for a lot of people over a really large area.

Serious question. Why wasn't the counties in the valley added as disaster areas yesterday by Abbot? They look to be going to have a lot of rain and flooding.

Some friends of ours have a small place in Sargent. He was going to ride it out but a sheriffs deputy talked him out of it. It's literally right on the water, not sure why he thought he would do that.

Leaks

I just left port a. It's deserted. They have 25 sand barricades across the road access to the beaches.

It's weird over there. Got the golf cart and a friend's and packed what we could. No boats behind trout street. None.
Ferrys still running

Best part. People still fishing at packery. Lol. Cowboy hats and lawn chairs sitting in the water. I laughed.

Tide still down. Not too windy.

I've done this a lot. They always seem to swing north at the last minute. We hope so. Rockport has st joe to protect it. The surge had to cross a mile of island and it'll slow it wayyyyyy down. They have a big advantage there. Slows down the storm too.

This will be interesting. It'll be really bad or just rain.

Well my neighbor told me NOAA officials were meeting with insurance adjusters and told them that. But I agree it's all too early and I am getting that third hand, so probably take all that with a grain of salt.
