It has been 5 years. Maybe it is delayed onset?

Found the source of my poison Oak. It was hiding in my grapevine. I cut it all down and sprayed it down with 2-4-D. Fingers crossed.

Ok. So other stuff has been identified as cow itch vine, I've been trying to find the poison ivy and found this little booger under an oak tree? I think it is, but would appreciate others opinions.

Last two pictures, that's definitely poison ivy.

I was pretty sure as soon as I saw it. I think I found the culprit to the kiddos shin welps every so often. . Good news is this is the only vine I've seen and should be easy to kill/dig up... plus I don't have to kill my honey suckle due to the other being cow itch vine, an extra bonus.

Roundup + a small amount of 2,4-D + soap. Roundup by itself is not a good choice, but the 2,4-D with it is a deadly combo on perennial broadleafs.

if you're unsure about poison ivy, it's really easy to find it when it pops up in the spring as those leaves are maple red.

The woody part of the vine will get you itchy, too. Not just the leaves. Found that out the hard way years ago.

Poison Ivy isn't the only plant to have that leaf configuration....

Poison ivy, 98% of the time is a VERY easy plant to ID. I'm not sure where all the confusion comes in. Then again I'm around it on a daily basis so maybe that's why. What gets some people is that it can grow as a vine, as a bush, hell, almost as a tree. I showed GatorAg one of my near record species last week while turkey hunting. It's a stand-alone poison ivy plant that is probably 4-5" caliper, and 12-15 feet tall.
