CactusThomas, yes those are my AAD boots. I'm not sure if prices have changed, but his boots started at $1300 for basic calf/goat skins, and went up with extra rows of stitching, or inlays. Ostrich and elephant were just under $2k. Zephan is a bootmaker, not a salesman. He builds boots that are meant to last many years. Tell him I sent you and he'll throw in a matching belt.
I am bumping this old thread because my boots from Parker Custom Boots are finished.
I really appreciate aad03's recommendation - I couldn't be happier with my boots and with the process as a whole.
I placed my order in August. Zephan must have taken 30 different measurements of my feet. He was great to work with. This was my first time ordering customs and he was very understanding and helpful, never condescending.
My boots are grey ostrich. Full quill lowers and smooth uppers. The uppers have extensive piping and maroon single line stitching. The piping pattern is loosely based off of a 70's lucchese design that I brought a picture of. There is a small maroon block T inlaid in the front of both boots. On the back of the boots, one has a 17 and the other has 18 stitched into them for my graduation years. These boots are a graduation present from my wife. I realize grey ostrich boots aren't going to appeal to everyone - that's how custom boots are, but they're exactly what I wanted.
The fit on these boots is incredible. I highly recommend Zephan Parker to anyone looking for a new pair. Thanks to aad03, Zephan is now making me a free belt to match these boots.
Here is a link to a picture of my new boots:

I am already planning my next pair.
