No.

I only wear it to church or events like weddings and funerals. My best man has one that he wears far more often than I do and he hasn't had any problems.

I got married at 19 - that was 35 years and 70lbs ago. Still married, but no amount of re-sizing will make the ring fit - so I don't wear it.
... but then, I also don't wear my Aggie Ring.

I have thought about doing what my son-in-law did after he lost his 2nd titanium ring (he works construction) -- get a wedding ring tattoo. Seems like the best solution...

That's what my cousin wears. He was a rescue swimmer in the navy (now reserves) and currently a fireman. He figured a gold band would get damaged, lost, or stolen (when he was stationed in Asia).
