"Don't shoot me, don't shoot."

"This the robbery, everyone give me your egg roll.."

"Not today man"

Boom boom boom boom boom

Well, obviously, the guy who got shot put in no consideration of how his day was going to end.

Thanks Trump/NRA. One less expense the taxpayers have to worry about.

I'm glad this ended the way that it appears that it did. Something to think about, though,is that there are somewhere around 175,000 armed robberies in the US every year. In the vast majority of those no one gets injured. Most thugs just want to inimidate long enough to steal and then get away. Killing or injuring usually happens with resistance.

If you are robbed when by yourself then absolutely pull your gun and start blazing away if you get your chance and feel lucky-I hope it turns out like this one. But if there are others in the area, like the first clerk that gets caught in the crossfire, it might be wiser to hand over what the guy wants and be a good witness.

The proper response had been discussed here ad nauseam, in many threads.

If one carries, one should already have in mind a plan of their reaction to a crisis. I don't know anyone responsible who puts "shoot first" into their action plan. It's usually well after "hide, run, cooperate"

I was mainly responding to Bender's post with a different perspective. I have made the decision of pulling the trigger on someone and going through the legal process. One of my biggest concerns was one of my bullets hitting someone else that I couldn't see.
