Frangelico or Wellers are also good in coffee

I like Cafe BonBons when I can get them (equal parts espresso, sweetened condensed milk, and whipped cream)

Otherwise, I just use a clever dripper.

Cafe du Monde canned coffee into hot milk is pretty good

Chemex pour-over every morning. I use locally roasted beans from Cuppa Craft in Fort Worth. Vayder blend is my preference but the Teruno Nayarit is pretty good as well.

We get Britt coffee from Costa Rica, and have a case shipped in when we need it. Very smooth, and great flavor.

Folgers. Every morning.

French press? Flavors? Alternative no-calorie sweeteners? In my day, you dumped some Folgers in an old camp coffeepot like the one pictured below, brewed it on the stove or fire, and drank it black.

I like the Independence brand coffees. Usually mix half and half their Backyard Pecan and Earlywine Breakfast blend. Has just the right amount of pecan flavor for my liking. I use a regular coffee maker and just enough sugar in the raw to temper the bitterness. Grat way to start the morning for me.

The BRC brand coffee is pretty solid as well. No pecan though, they probably dont know what it is. There is a roasting house in Pearland that i want to try, but their coffee is 2x per pound than Independence amd I cant bring myself to spend that yet.

HEB Houston blend with some splenda. Maybe a little baileys on the weekends. I use a keurig, though I think it makes a terrible cup of coffee. I am too lazy to use a french press cause I don't want to clean it out every time. Considering going back to old school drip basket Mr Coffee or similar.

HEB Classic Roast
HEB House Blend

both under three bucks for the 13 0z can...... what they used to call a one pound can of coffee.

Made in a $9.99 Mr. Coffee coffee maker.

Yes I am a cheapskate with coffee, but I really like these two.

I now understand why so many people on this board hunt high fence places with big fancy lodges, and only hire full service guides when they leave home. It's not because they're lazy and don't want to put in work. It's because they can't live without their french press, fancy ass coffee that they drink from their tiny china cups with their little pinky sticking out...

JeebusChrist what a bunch of weirdos. Put some damn black folgers coffee in a mug and go hunt. You do know if you put coffee grounds in water and boil it then *voila*, coffee. It doesn't require K cups, electricity, french presses, etc. Water. Coffee. Heat. That's it.

Can you imagine reading GatorAg's Alaska hunt thread and picture him saying, and after I dumped my raft and 1000 pounds of bison into the frozen river I climbed onto the bank, put on my driest wool clothes and then immediately dragged out my french press to make some mocha pecan pinon coffee so that I could get my wits about me!

HELL. NO.

Maybe if you could experience a fine cup of coffee, you wouldn't be so cranky.

Fonte Coffee from Bellevue, WA is worth ordering. They have a lot of roasts and they're all good. A friend of mine ships them to me couple times a year.

The Texas Pecan at Valero is excellent in a spot and McDonald's coffee is as well. Their iced coffee is actually really good if you like iced coffee.

As always though, I like my coffee on the black side of black.

Remington Corelokts in your Stevens
Cheap broadheads on your $3 arrows
Yakawananotgonnaworkhere tires on your truck
Harbor Freight batteries in your Game Winner camera
Boones Farm in your flask
Pound rescue mutt in your truck

Everyone has their thing. Don't mean nobody's a titty baby. I like 25 yo single malts. I also drink Lonestar on occasion.

For ****'s sake dude go pop a brute and post pics already. At least run an arrow thru your AC unit or something.

YOUR HVAC UNIT, I don't mean AC's junk.

1) fine stuff snobs
2) plain black stuff snobs

+1 more for Costa Rican Terrazu coffee. We have a Breville that grinds directly into the filter for a fresh pot every time. I prefer Trader Joe's to Britt, but, Britt is very good as well. Drink it black

At home I roast my own coffee, and use my espresso maker for my usual morning cup. Usually I make an americano, though the last few days I've been making lattes with some coconut oil in the milk before frothing, which I find lessens the amount of reflux/indigestion I have after my coffee. If I'm doing the coconut oil thing, I use an espresso blend. For everything else, my favorites are Rwandan coffees roasted to a full city level.

Now, at the lease, I bring HEB San Antonio Blend, Austin Blend, or Texas Pecan. No coffee until I'm done with the morning hunt, though... don't want to have to pee when a shooter is in front of me!

I'm honestly not a coffee snob. I appreciate a really good cup, but am perfectly content with a decent cup. I keep some K-cups in Texas Pecan at work for my afternoon cup.

There is this Peruvian stuff in the bulk coffee section of HEB that I buy and grind every morning. Black for me.

I like the Pecan ok but kind of got tired of it after years of drinking it.

Anybody else prefer to use honey in their coffee?

I started a couple years ago because I wanted to cut out as much processed sugar and artificial crap and a friend recommended using local, unfiltered honey. Damned if it isn't great. Honey and a bit of milk and it is delicious.

I really enjoy a French press'd cup of coffee, black. But I'm in a stage of life where I don't get any morning time to set that up. So it's a treat when I get to enjoy it that way. My daily routine is k-cup jet-fuel or Italian roast w a splash of half and half, no sugar, on the way out the door to get the kids to school. Fastest solution with zero clean up.

Oh, and this thread delivers.

And the best I ever had was in Jamaica. 100% Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee. You can't find it here in the states. And to buy it online you are looking to spend $40+/lb if it's available. .

You can find the Blue Mountain coffee BLEND here, but it's not the same.

Wife and I were happy Folgers drinkers, but HEB Classic must be "reverse-engineered" such that we can't tell it from Folgers! Good stuff for us.

Bunn unit, RO water...quick and tasty coffee.

Consumer Reports checked out several different ways to make coffee a while back and decided the old Mr. Coffee machine was the best.

I used to get Gevalia years ago, and they had some good flavors. But I decided Folgers Columbian is just as good or better than most anything out there. Cheaper, too.

Yep. At the house it is all i use to sweeten. Bounce back and forth between local and manuka honey.
