Just read the second part - awesome story. You definitely have a memory of a lifetime. I'm still jealous, even knowing my old decrepit arthritic self would likely not be able to make such a hunt physically anymore.

I'm not a hunter, but your post makes me want to start. The story and pictures were amazing! I could only imagine what it was like in person. I am completely jealous of your experience.

Also, have you thought about maybe writing a book about your journeys? Even if this hunting trip would be the only one in it, I would love to read more about it. Just a thought.

Not sure what happened to his first post, but you were not Barnes'd. I've been eating that mountain goat and bison since April.

He lost the head and hide, and a bunch of meat, but saved maybe 1/3 of the meat. Maybe 1/2, I can't remember.

Checked, and it sounds like he fell victim to the "Photobucket screwed themselves" business model. None of his pictures would post anymore. He tried to reformat the OP and it got all wonky so he deleted it from this thread.

It does not exist online anywhere else, just fyi.
